Lecce Salento now certainly did not need presentations: beautiful territory rich in history, traditions, culture where every town, even the smallest, has an important monument to see a church, a castle or a baronial palace, where the campaign is a continual surprise of rural landscapes and architecture. The salento is a natural resource with its coast still well preserved and its beaches among the most beautiful in Italy.
The same goes for its capital, the city of Lecce, so we only remember the wonderful old town, dominated by baroque but also the evidence of past Roman and Renaissance old town famous for its "movida" among the most vibrant and brightest of the South with local entertainment and all kinds. Lecce is also a shopping capital with the brand more national and international trend in all new center of the city.
The B & B "Residenza Pizziniaco" is in the heart of Lecce, it rises behind the old town, in one of the most distinctive districts of the city, a city founded in early'900 once known as "Borgo Pizziniaco", a district characterized by a heterogeneous that alternates a modest buildings and villas palazzotti bourgeois style "Liberty" and "Deco" according to the prevailing taste in the period. The B & B is located in the heart of the district, in Nicholas Cataldi (formerly Court Pizziniaco), a quiet courtyard.
The B & B is a few hundred meters from the railway station, near the Provincial Museum "S. Castromediano "and the main bus stops for the province. S. Oronzo and the most beautiful Baroque architecture of Lecce, and Piazza Mazzini, the shopping center city can be reached by walking for 10 minutes.
In the district, near the B & B also is in all stores, taverns, delicatessens, supermarkets, hairdressers and what else can serve.
Lecce is the ideal to visit the Salento, convenient highways leading everywhere and almost all destinations in the province can be reached in half an hour by car.
